I wish to do this project to help both children and youth of Ghana, who are our future leaders.
My encounter at the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital and Senior Correctional Center (Borstal Institute) with the deplorable conditions of the children and the youth of the respective institutions has prompted me to make this passionate call on all.
During my visit to Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital and the Senior Correctional Center (Borstal Institute) on the 18th of February 2009, I observed that both institution lack medical and office equipment, accessories and logistics whiles the conditions of the offices, wards, including the surroundings need upgrading and trade training facilities and no computers for I.T. studies.
I have therefore decided to set the pace by participating in the Accra International Marathon to raise the sum of Gh¢ 25,000.00, twenty five thousand cedis, to support the two institutions. I call on all concerned parties to assist me with moral and financial support to make this mission a reality.
In the meantime, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to those who supported my earlier PEACE WALK prior to the 2008 elections.
