Message from the Race Director 1 August 2016

Dear Aspiring AIMers,

Race Director EkuaDue to apparent interest in the stats, it appears I better keep up with the ranking of countries represented in our registrations to date. We now have 17 nationalities represented but the representation rankings are unchanged: 1st: U.S.; 2nd: U.K.; 3rd: Nigeria; 4th: Ghana; 5th: Israel, Japan, and South Africa. The 3 front-runner countries have pulled well ahead of the pack.

With just 3 months to go until AIM day, we are gearing up for a significant increase in registration activities. Those who have completed registration as of now are guaranteed their choice of shirt style and size. For the rest, the sooner we receive your registration, the better AIM 2016 event shirtsyour chances of getting your preferences since shirt reservations will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.

From the samples the manufacturer has supplied, the shirts, made in quality, soft, dry wick fabric, are the snazziest [custom designed] and most comfortable of all the shirts we’ve ever purchased. In fact, the fabric is so soft against the skin that many of even the marathon runners should be able wear it on AIM day notwithstanding the general advice against wearing new apparel on a marathon distance race day.

As always, AIM well; AIM often; get all your friends and loved ones to AIM; and please support our Charity Partners.

ciao for now,
ekua
